Murray Bruno Family
We started In A Pinch in 2018 after realizing that no service like it existed on the Island. Our vision is for In A Pinch to become a recognized brand on Nantucket that year round residents and visitors alike can call on when they need a helping hand. Our family has operated The Murray Camp, a children's summer day camp on the island for the past 32 years. We have found ourselves frequently called on by our camp families when finding themselves literally "In A Pinch" and needing local support from a trusted source. Mary & Chuck have co-chaired fundraisers on island for Boston Children's Hospital Autism Language program and have assisted with coordinating events with the White Elephant, the Galley and the Summer House, in addition to many private events.
We look forward to hearing from you anytime you find yourself on or off island and literally "in a pinch" requiring experienced , trusted and friendly island support with no contract! Mary is an educational psychologist and Chuck is a secondary school teacher. They have an extensive network of local individuals, if not themselves or their young adult children with a variety of skill sets, eager to help you out when unexpected needs arise.

Seamus attended Stonehill College and Boston College Business School as an accounting major. He is looking forward to beginning graduate school in the fall majoring in education for teaching secondary level Math. Seamus is an assistant director and the aquatic director at the Murray Children's summer camp.
Liam attended Wheaton College as a Business Major and an Environmental Studies minor. He completed his internships on island with Acksmart Solar Power and at Sustainable Nantucket. Liam is the co-founder of ACK Eats, the island's first extensive delivery service, also referred to on island as delivery.com.
